Plunge Pool Range

about the plunge pool range

Discover our exceptional collection of award-winning plunge pools. No matter the size or layout of your backyard, our range is tailored to fit perfectly, transforming even the smallest or most awkward spaces into inviting outdoor retreats. In the warm Perth climate, there’s nothing quite like cooling off in your own plunge pool and our compact options are the ideal solution when space is limited.

A fibreglass plunge pool offers numerous benefits, including easier maintenance and more affordable heating costs, than concrete pools, all while enhancing the beauty and ambiance of your backyard. Our fibreglass plunge pool range has become increasingly popular, particularly as backyards continue to shrink in size. The key benefit of a plunge pool is its universal depth, or a ‘flat bottom’ which maximises the swimming space, especially when working within in a confined area. These dream pools can be swiftly and effortlessly installed, with a remarkable turnaround time of just five days. Within a week you can enjoy a stunning pool area to entertain friends and provide endless hours of relaxation and fun for the family.

Start planning your dream backyard today – Contact our helpful team for a no-obligation quote to find out the pool options which will best fit your site.

Our plunge pools feature competitive pricing and industry leading warranties.  All our pools are proudly manufactured right here in Perth at our state-of-the-art facility in Forrestdale, ensuring exceptional quality and local expertise backed by over 40 years of industry experience.

The Barrier Reef Difference

LIFETIME PAVING GUARANTEE

Pencil Compacting

Pencil compacting is a ‘must do’ around all pools as it is the best way to fully consolidate the excavation area between natural ground and the pool. View our explanation video and you will see that it is just one of the many ways Barrier Reef Pools are superior to others.

Preparation Before Concrete

Timber boxing is formed up around the pool from waters edge 350mm wide. Two rows of N-12 Bar (Reo Bar) are laid between the perimeter of the timber boxing and the pool shell connecting into the pool shell provisions.

Concrete Pour

Concrete is then poured around the pool approx. 350mm wide from waters edge x 150mm deep. The concrete is then screeded to approx 15mm – 20mm  below the top edge of the fibreglass. This footing provides a solid foundation for your pool headers to be fixed to and therefore will not allow any movement in the paving. (Optional 250mm x 150mm is also available).

Paving Bond

As stated to the left concrete is left 15-20mm below the fibreglass edge. This is required so we can use a thick layer of paving bond between the concrete and the paver. This 4 Step process enables us to provide a Lifetime paving guarantee against any bullnose paving becoming loose around the pool’s edge (the paving company must be accredited through Barrier Reef Pools WA Pty Ltd).
