This Barrier Reef pool in Baldivis is designed to play a large part in family life. Installed on a five-acre lot and called Resort, it measures 12M by 5.2M and is the largest fibreglass pool in Australia, according to Barrier Reef Pools WA Director and owner Brad Hilbert.
“Barrier Reef Pools has had this shape in the construction pipeline for six years, and it is now finally in production,” he said.
The pool recently won gold in the Fibreglass Pool and Spa category at the annual SPASA Awards.”
It has two platform areas which are separated by a spa sitting between them. “The separate spa is more of an adults’ area, and the swimming pool is great for the kids to jump in and splash around in,” Mr Hilbert said.
The deep blue of the pool is enhanced by three lights, one of which is in the spa, which is also fitted with eight jets and a blower system. Charcoal-toned paving frames the immediate area around the pool and is nicely contrasted by neutral tones around the wider area.
Glass fencing allows for a clear view across the backyard, straight through to the parkland area, creating a relaxing ambience.
